The mission of the Brunswick Topsham Housing Authority is to provide safe, quality, and affordable housing for eligible persons in need of assistance, regardless of race, color, sex, religion, national or ethnic origin, age, handicap, marital status, sexual orientation, familial status, or disability, and to promote opportunities for the growth and development of residents as well as our community.

On April 10, 2020, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development issued Notice PIH 2020-05 (the “Notice”), which established certain regulatory waivers and alternative requirements for, among other things, the Public Housing program and Housing Choice voucher (“HCV”) program due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. On April 22, 2020, the Board of Commissioners of the Brunswick Housing Authority(“BHA”) voted to allow BHA to utilize applicable regulatory waivers and alternative requirements for its public housing and HCV programs in accordance with the Notice.
Effective April 22, 2020, BHA began applying the regulatory waivers and alternative requirements noted in the link below. The respective regulatory waiver and alternative requirements will apply for the time period indicated in the link.
